Sorry, it depends on the camera model, and whether the shutter is focal plane, so I doubt you'll get an accurate answer here unless someone else here has one repaired recently. Speak to the official service center for your model or the original manufacturer first and get a quote, then shop around and see what the independent repairers are charging.

For whatever it is worth, when the shutter went on My D70 Nikon USA service charged me $278 to fix it in August 2006.

Wide open question.

With the firesale prices on film cameras. You are probably better off buying a used one than fixing yours.
