it's your choice to decide. And if you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.

No false hope is not better than sadness and here is why. False hope keeps a person stuck in illusion and ultimately they will feel disillusioned when their hope is realized to be false so there is no escaping the inevitable sadness that is part of the death phase of the death and rebirth cycle.
We all go through numerous death and rebirth phases in life. Things break down, bonds and relationships end or are redefined. The good news is that that which falls apart was not strong or built on solid foundation to begin with. Allowing things to end with grace is a virtue. The rebirth always follows and that is a wonderful period to look forward to and put hope in!

When you say "false" hope, do you mean to say that you deliberately lied to keep someones hopes up? Because that is mean.
Sadness- well everyone can handle that .
Take for instance, a boyfriend/girlfriend that you decide to keep around for the holidays but planned to break up with a few months ago. In that scenario, I would say that if you made the decision to keep someone around, you may have a point in prolonging the inevitable but do not lead him/her on much longer. You can "read" a person close to you better than any of us can.

NO< Cuz it leads to even worse sadness. I have false hope all the time. I thought a couple of guys were going to go out wiht me (not at the same time.lol). They said yes, but then changed there mind....I had it all imagined in my head, how we would go to the movies every friday and hold hands. Then they changed there mind. It really hurt, much worse than if they would have just said no in the first place.
I made out with this guy at school and though we could go out. It didnt work out, he likes being single. I had imagined that...we still kiss and he holds me like were going out, but he dosent want to comite i think, its all false hope. It would be better to be sad in the first place because it would hurt less before they said yes than if it was just killed first.

No false hope is a nice thing to have but its like walking on a level board on top of a big hill. The farther you walk on the board the farther down you have to fall. The best thing to do is to have a small bit of hope but be resigned to the worst. But remember, this way should not be used in situations that require confidence. False hope can help someone be more confident.

No sadness is a blissful emotion, a very under apreciated emotion.. a REAL live emotion that you can apply to all situations..
-Said the emo kid..
I have no idea, false hope is rediculious actually, WHY hope for something that is futile.. I would much rather deal with the empty fact that I couldnt' have something, than to hope and wish for it.. Only to be REALLY crushed later on..
