If Kruschew hadn't taken power, the world would have been more in the shitter than it already is. Just because you don't want something to be true, doesn't make it false. You are irrational because of your bias.
Oh, and the bourgeois hated Stalin because they were on the upper rung of things and he took it away from them. Not saying whether that is bad or good, but it's just the outcome of his politics that there could be no upper class like that. Too bad Stalin was corrupt. Communism, sociolism, anarchism are all great things but human nature screws them up so they will never work. Pity to the world.

I take it you're looking for a rebellion - not rational discourse.
Go somewhere else, please.
Merry Christmas!
p.s. Why, exactly, is it bad to be bourgeois?
As to a return to your Utopian ideal of a World under Communism: Where did Putin come from? The KGB.
The "new" guy (can't remember his name): The KGB.
Where is Putin going to be? Running the show until he becomes (elected? ha!) again - it says nothing about numbers of terms, simply numbers of consecutive terms.
The reality is Russia is the Soviet Union Part II - maybe Part III now - Part IV will occur in a few years. In the interim, Putin, in all his Speedo glory, will still be running things. The only difference is now they OPENLY show off their wealth - but we STILL don't see the horrific suffering and poverty - just the criminals driving around in their Mercedes, BMWs, Hummers, etc.

Well, you are entitled to your own opinion, but as the yanks say, I beg to differ.
Stalin had a certain part in the WW II, but the fact that eliminated a few thousands of people, despite your statement of the contrary, certainly neutralizes that.
It is my understanding that, under old Joe, you could not do what you are doing here, telling your opinion, unless it agreed with The Big Boss
There is a short story that says: Stalin had a reunion with his ministers, but shortly after he missed his pipe.
He then called Beria and told him to find the pipe.
Next day, Beria tells Stalin that all the ministers had confessed to having stolen the pipe. Stalin congratulates Beria and says:
"Well done, comrade, but I already found the pipe. It was behind the sofa"

Number of people he killed was greatly exaggerated?
First of all, even if it was exaggerated, he still killed millions of his OWN people. He may have been a great leader, but it was only becauase he used fear.
Secondly, it wasn't greatly exaggerated. The amount of people he killed was unexcuseable.
If you believe in Soviet Russia still, go ahead and try to bring it back. see how many people follow you.

Bah, you don't really know much about him if you think he did not cause MILLIONS of deaths. First, his Five year plans failed in crop production, then he let people starve rather than admit it. Then he got rid of (executed) thousands of good army officers just before Hitler attacked, leaving the country in trouble in fighting the Nazi's. And he continued his ways until his death.
