Why be alarmed at sirens and lights...
The serial killer surrendered next door.
Why bother with casinos...
Just write a check to the Gaming Commission.
Don't even bother with coffee...
Ice cubes down your bra works just fine.
Read your book. Ignore the open window...
Your Great Dane will bury the body.
Go to an 'all you can eat' buffet...
You know your fluid pills work wonders.

We all need to give ourselves a break, The problem with that is, there are always external influences that take their toll on us, not allowing us to be good to ourselves.

When I was growing up, neither concept had any meaning. I was well fed, had warm clothing and sturdy boots, for the winter, and lived in a well built, draughtproof house. We always had enough wood for the fire, and our own well for fresh water. I had two well trained dogs to work with, and I couldn't imagine anything else that I could have wanted. Today, well, cash gets short around xmas, and the school holidays, with the invasion of the rug rats, but even so, I'm rich enough. Besides, if I had to choose between cash, and the rug rats, the cash would come a poor third.

A Break Please!
I don't mean break, like coffee; I don't mean a break like a leg; I just mean a break from the rat race of life, and I need it now!
I do mean a break from traffic jams and road rage, and Honking obnoxious horns, broken taillights, brakelights,
Cracks in the windowshield, and flat tires in 97 degrees!
I do mean a beak from bullshit, hip waders, bounced checks
Forged travelers' checks and pennies, change is a pain!
While I am at it, a break from lazy little terds still at home
That order me around and call me rotten names, and I'm "MOM?"
A break in the price of gas would really be nice too,
Like that is going to happen any time soon.
I don't mean a break in the arm, forearm and hand, they hurt!
I don't mean to break my favorite piece of china.
I do mean a break from bulk emails, and junk or spam mail.
I do, oh I do need a break in life... Oz anyone?
