Hi, I'm a beginner to Photoshop (I have CS2.).. I barely know anything. Would using a reference/guide book such as the "For Dummies" series, or some other book, be helpful in helping a beginner?
I'm 15, and I don't ever really have much time on my hands. I would probably read and flip through only few pages a day. However, I think it would be great if I could figure out how to use Photoshop, but I'm hesitant to buy a book if it might not be useful.

Could anybody give a good opinion on these types of books?

I wish I knew how to wrtie a sonnet
I wish I knew how long this thing should be
I hope I get a good grade on it
If not an A i'll settle for a B
The rhyme sceme alternates from line to line
through the first three quatrains anyway
then add another pair of lines that rhyme
to emphasize the things I need to say
I hope your expectations are not high
(I need a line right here)
Its not as if I didn't really try
The pressure of the deadline makes it hard
I really want to quit and go to sleep
but not to try would certainly be worse.

****Is this in iambic pentameter? please say yes and help me write the 10th line

While you can look at popular mechanics, the history Chanel or loose change and other conspiratorially ideas. What you cannot do with any true accuracy, is to say that you know what really happened that day. While we may never know all the details, it is a fact that there was a cover up of some sort and an investigation was suppressed. The motives were obviously had to do with national security.
The big question is how far is to far and dose the end always justify the means?

"There is a principle which is a bar against all information, which is proof against all arguments and which can not fail to keep a man in everlasting ignorance-that principle is contempt prior to investigation."

WHEN YOU LOOK AT AN OLD PICTURE DO YOU see a stranger in the background? it makes you wonder how many people have pictures of you, how many moments of other people's lives we've been in. were we part of someone's life when their dream came true? did we keep trying to get in, as if we were somehow destined to be there? or did the shot take us by surprise? just think, you could be a big part of someone else's life and not even know it.

i was just thinking

it was the voice of an elderly friend. there was not mistaking it. she has a very distinctive voice. anyway, it inspired me to write a poem, feeling certain she had just passed on, i wrote it. it took me two weeks to get the courage to call her to learn that she is still alive, but not quite able to talk on the phone. what, in your opinion do you think this was?

180 Mile Per Hour Winds

There was a wolf, a cat, and a hen.
All my king's horses...
All my king's men...
Still...no help comes.

I wait for the storm...there will be
No witch flying outside my
Window.
Not tonight.
Not this late hour.

Turkeys in the front yard,
Chickens huddled at the front
Door,
Wolf under my window...
Silence of Coyotes in the
Canefields.
Still...no help comes.

Winds are from the East.
Rains are from the East...
Three days now.

The radio talks of a monster
In the Gulf...crawling, stopping
To look around...choose oaks
Hundreds of years old...
Choose Plantation mansions...
Winds...150mph.

It will flatten the near-harvest
Canefields...sugar prices will
Soar.
It will prune the Oaks.

It will shift the house I live in
Three times...
Winds...180mph.

Is that true? I mean we were talking about the Civil Rights Movement and whatnot..and then somebody in my class asked a question about "wasn't women allowed to vote?" Then my teacher said "Yes that true..but only white women/not colored." So anyway, my teacher was talking about how the government would establish these test just so black people can take test like vocab test..etc...and she said that prevented them from voting because they was very uneducated. Is this true?
