So I have been going everywhere with it. I use a Pentax 1000 and a Canon 30d.

So I'm noticing most of the time the cameras give me the same settings if I point at the card or other stuff. Last night we had the most great sunset. The automatic shots were horrible, when I used the card the shoots looked really good. Do I use the card when the light is not "normal" and the cameras should get the rest right?

Am I making sence? Am I on the right track?

Can you get the same blur/ realism effect on a digital camera as opposed to film? I'm thinking about getting a new camera....but should I stick to film or do the new digital cameras provide the same characteristic effects.

I have no idea what countries are what. I'm in the section about Prussian government in my textbook, and all of the sudden, they're talking about German nobles. Are Prussians also Germans?

Is the Habsburg-Austrian Empire part of the Holy Roman Empire? Is the Prussian empire part of it? Thanks.

I am not particularly musical (I can play a bit of piano and sing a bit) and my husband is not at all musical but I would love our children to be. How can we get them into music early on? Classes? Other people? Any suggestions? Thank you.

I have a lot of trouble getting landscapes to turn out right. Are there any suggestions/rules that I should follow? I do know that the horizon should not be in the center of the photo and that the sky should have some texture.

Here are what I consider my three best (They're still not good enough for me):

For which qualities and achievements is Gilgamesh praised in the prologue of The Epic of Gilgamesh? I'm not too sure because its really hard to understand it. your help is greatly appreciated. The only achievements I know of is that he build walls around the city Uruk, killed Humbaba the monster. As for qualities...ummm, he was wise, went on long journeys, was courageous and was two thirds god and one third man.

Who are your candidates of historical characters, that are not understood, mis-understood, or utter enigmas?
Such as: famous, but complete "nut-cases"; infamous, but mis-understood; famous, but mis-understood; flayboyant beyond belief; or just total enigmas.
I am requesting at least 3, but more if you like. And please give at least a one sentence explanation of why they are your choice.

Im looking for a new line of work I like movies and plays I was wondering if I could be the lighting guy or the props guy or the person who picks out what the people should wear for a certain play or maybe someone who builds sets even. If any body knows how to get started in this line of work I would much apreciate it, and in Chicago please.
