Just about as tired as I am of the question you just asked. ;)

Consider that there are new people to Y!A. :) Cut them some slack... move on by the question if you don't like it.

Seriously, I think the Philosophy category must have more repetition in questions than any others I have been in. :)

Hang in there... there is some good in between.

I'm a bit tired of seeing that question on Yahoo Answers, because, really, how does one answer it? But I'm not tired of considering the question for myself. Probably in a million different variations, but it is, in some ways, the fundamental question, no?

To be tired of the question is to be tired of life - even when you believe you know the answer.

I don't think it's really necessary to think very deeply on that.

What is the meaning of life? What MEANING have YOU put in your life? That would be a better question, in my opinion.

We are the only sentient beings on earth (that we know of). We have evolved to the point we are capable of asking these sort of questions. But, assuming we are not here to debate evolution, our brains evolved enough to get past the "live to eat; eat to live" state. Evolution has left us with a questioning mine.

Therefore is it only humans who need to ask about a meaning of life.

YOU have to put meaning into your life. Then you find the answers to lots of nebulous things.

Think about this one: The meaning of life is to have fun. Simple. We have to get through adversities, loss, problems up the ying-yang, but still make something out of our lives that bring meaning to it and that is fun as well.

Addendum: If we stop asking these questions, we stop wondering, pondering, and become less sentient.

Might as well evlove BACK to our origins.

~~~ Well,actually I don't answer those questions anymore. I ignore them now,BUTT!! my standard answer used to be..."Feed the strays!" Or something like that. Anyway,I have been in an awful mood lately and I decided to look for this stupid [oops sorry] repetitive question & answer it in a really mean way. I just felt like venting my anger at life on the whole world [or whom ever would listen]. Then,my ding-batty friend started IMing me right when I found it. He made me laugh,and probably saved me from getting a violation notice for giving an answer that I really didn't mean. I do mean this though...."Please help the strays. It's their life too." ~~~
oh i am.
i don't even understand why i bothered answering.
but i wish no one has ever asked the question ever. because i might not think about it.
i feel like i am obsessed with the question in general, and of the meaning of my own life that i cannot seem to do anything else than just reflect.
as i have just jotted in my blog, i seem to be living to i can evaluate how i live. which is really pathetic is you ask me.
don't be like me.
we both should try getting a life.
I'm not tired of the question, I'm just tired of being asked.
sometimes but I often find it is a good discussion. I like to hear what others think and at times in life it does challenge, question or reinforce where I`m going or what I think.
