5D is a fine machine. Nothing like a FF DSLR. Congrats.

The closest camera to me right now is my Canon F-1N with a Canon 20mm 2.8 lens mounted on it. This is one of my all-time favorite combinations.

Right now, I have a Nikon D50 staring back at me, along with a Nikon N8008s at its side. Behind it is a Swinger land Cam, Polaroid 450, a Brownie Hawkeye, and a Bell and Howell Two Twenty. I guess you could say I'm a camera collector. The D50 of course sees the most action, next the N8008s, and the Swinger would as well, but I have not been able to find film for it. The Brownie is missing a reel, but all I need is some 120 film.

Up till I started typing, I had my Taylor 110e acoustic, hackin my way through some Janis Joplin tabs I just found.

On the shelf, I own a D100, 3 N80's and two F100's, nothing special.

Closest to me at the moment is the D80, ready for use. The F100 and 6006 are in the camera case at the moment, but I will be using the F100 and 50mm f1.4 this weekend to shoot the grandchildren with Christmas lights.

greater effective is greater a be counted of non-public selection than actuality. i in my view use Olympus and on your challenge, i think of Canon is sensible. you have already got get entry to to lenses and different upload-ons which you will share. Canon will produce good high quality photographs and you gets began for under the common individual with the help of working with your brother to hide you on the lenses. If he nevertheless has that 450D, it can be a reliable beginning ingredient for you.
