WHEN YOU LOOK AT AN OLD PICTURE DO YOU see a stranger in the background? it makes you wonder how many people have pictures of you, how many moments of other people's lives we've been in. were we part of someone's life when their dream came true? did we keep trying to get in, as if we were somehow destined to be there? or did the shot take us by surprise? just think, you could be a big part of someone else's life and not even know it.

i was just thinking

I have actually thought about this several times. It is kind of strange to think that although I am just some random stranger, I will be with them for a long time. :)

I have actually pondered on this before. I don't think we are predestined to be in a photo, but then again...we will never know, will we? I have thought about using this idea as a basis of a story once. It's one of those strange, but simple things in life some people pass over.

I think it would be neat to be in the background of a photo that would one day be recognized. At the same time though it'd make me feel insignifigant because I more than likely would not recall when the photo was taken or not remember having the photo taken. It'd make me wonder how I could pass by (two people getting married for example) and not recall seeing them enjoying life on their wedding day.

Those pics just bring home the point of how we're all interconnected. Even if we don't show up in other people's pictures, the things we do every day make an impact on people's lives in ways we will never know. Cosmic, eh?

I think I walked in front of the camera and spoiled the shot, so all they see is a blur caused by my arm swinging back and forth.

I used to think that way, but then I came to the realization that it's fate's way of putting me down in history, proof that I exist, and you can't argue with a photograph.
