it was the voice of an elderly friend. there was not mistaking it. she has a very distinctive voice. anyway, it inspired me to write a poem, feeling certain she had just passed on, i wrote it. it took me two weeks to get the courage to call her to learn that she is still alive, but not quite able to talk on the phone. what, in your opinion do you think this was?

It was her spirit reaching out to yours. Nothing to be afraid of, just be assured that you got the opportunity to re-connect with her before she moved to the next life. I've had that happen to me many times and in my haste, I put it off and the person passed. Then I always feel sad and neglectful afterward because I didn't reach out with I was moved to do so. Hope this helps...

Just your way of getting the message she was in need. You must be very connected to her. Some will get an overwhelming feeling or an urge to call. You heard her voice. This has happened to me also in the past. Just don't always think the person has passed on, it is usually not the case, as you have seen. You will get better at interpreting these empathic messages as you go along. Blessings.

A call for you to go visit your elderly friend. She can't talk on the phone, and she needs a visit from you.

Your mind going through your internal database and reminding you of one person that you have not been in contact with in a while. That's all, it happens to everyone.

I can't explain it. But it was just your time to connect with her. I'm glad it worked out.

Your imagination. There is no way she could have talked to you without her talking and you being in range to hear her.
