I'm confused. What is the difference between hte Huns and the Mongols? What did each group do to become famous, anyways? Did they even live during the same time period? Any help would be awesome, I'm kinda confused.

For a gift, i am making a poster size of one of my friend's piece of artwork. On many pictures on Allposters.com, they have a white border around them and the artist's name and title of the image below it. is there a certain name for this? is there a certain setting i can use on a photoshop to make this or do i have to make one manually? if so, what would the demensions be for this? thank you!

Also, here's a picture with what i'm talking about. thanks!

I've been trying to teach myself how to play the piano for a while now(6 months). I haven't really used a book yet, but I plan to in the near future. All I know about piano lessons is that they're extremely expensive and I would have to start from scratch anyway. My first question is, would it be possible to teach myself how to read music and play the piano with just a book? Also, I'm having so much trouble with my left hand (I am right handed). I just can't seem to play anything with it, and I have tried so hard to get the grip. Is that a problem for me? Does that mean I will never be able to play? I know I need practice with it, and I have been, but nothing seems to be helping, I practice for two hours every weekday, and it's almost all I can do on the weekends. I wish there was an easier way to learn because I really want to. Please answer my questions. If you can only answer one that's fine and I really appreciate your time.

I've never played the guitar before but will be taking classes at a community college. I saw a sale at Costco for a Suzuki acoustic guitar, model SUA-D for $100 after rebate. Since I don't know anything about them, I'm not sure if I should buy it. I tried to find reviews online, but found mixed reviews.

There's a satisfaction guarantee refund policy, but I don't want to bother with the refund, so I want to make sure it's a good buy before I purchase it.

Thanks!!

have u noticed? like every second of a dance is either filled with a leap...pirouette..or jump. wheres the dancing?? if thats all it is is just a show of "look what i can do" then iguess its not as special anymore? am i right? whats up with that? its turning into less of an art form and more of a....play. a show.

WOW YOUR PIROUETTE REALLY MOVED ME!!!!

*sigh* am i right?

"I wanted only to try to live in accord with the promptings which came from my true self. Why was that so very difficult"
"All I really wanted was to try and live the life that was spontaneously welling up within me. Why was that so very difficult"
right now im thinking that the first has more to do with following ur destiny, while the second leans more towards spontaneous free will.

Any thoughts?

I wanted to be a police officer or a doctor.

I was a cop for 6 years, but burned out.

I'm a 4th year pre-medical student now, and a carpenter to pay the bills.

Making a diffrence in the world is very important. It doesn't matter if it's something big or something small that you do because every bit counts. We need to care enough to help everyone. don't you agree? I mean the world is full of ungrateful people who take life for granted. It is also full of people who help the less fortunate, appreciate what they have and do not wish for bigger and better things, who live life to the fullest. How can i help make a diffence? big or small anything. I need more ideas. what do you think? how can we help?

Don't be anti-war, be pro-peace!

Thanks

Family is generally considered to be the people that love and support you. Relatives are the people who share your blood, who would be on the same family tree as you. So are your relatives necessarily who you consider to be family? What are your thoughts about this concept.
