There are so many governmental and non-governmental organizations who are claimed as a peace maker. They have been trying to help on humanitarian issues and others.

In the name of political problems and natural disaster many organizations and governments help financially and materially. We acknowledged that I hope. However still it is far from the goal they have made.

All the religious organizations are not sincerely share their peace making efforts to each other. May be I am wrong but it is my observation.

Most of us know we are having many serious problems on humanitarian and environmental issues, many people would like to contribute something for the sake of our universe but some of them never know how to involve.

So, what should we do?

Brief story: My half great-great uncle went to San Juan del Norte, Nicaragua, Jan 8, 1892, presumably to help build the Nicaragua Canal, which never materialized. I have his emergency passport application dated March 29, 1902, in which he said he would return to the US in 3 years. I assume he went to work on the Panama Canal. I have nothing after that on him and he was not buried in Ogdensburg, NY with his mother and siblings.

There is a ton of info on the web, too much for me to wade through right now. Has anyone researched this and found out what would have happened to Americans who died while building the Panama Canal, or Americans temporarily residing in Nicaragua?

After five years of looking for him, I finally found out today where he was then because Ancestry.com just released US Passport Applications this morning. So you can imagine how happy I am to have broken this brick wall, but now have another.

His name was Emery Leveille but he changed it to Emery Lowery. B. 8/1861 NY

I'm thirteen years old, and i've recently decided that I want to learn how to play the guitar. I've had a history in music, I've played the piano, and the flute.
So, I know it's going to take practice, but is it hard to learn?
(We've already found a teacher)

It's called "The World is Flat"...
It's a class assignment and it's a whopping 467 pages long!! Nobody wants to read it beacuse we already read the first few pages and it sound like the author was doing drugs while writing this (classmate's own words). If anybody has read this, does it get better along the way???
If not, How do I survive reading this without dieing of bordom?!
(sorry for mispellings)

I'm thinking of buying an electric guitar, and start learning to play it, but I have no idea which kind to buy. I was wondering, what's the difference, especially in sound. Also, which one is better and which one do you recommend.

Thanks

we had something going only after I withdrew,
and by that I mean we had a great friendship with
a hint of romance,
I believe in staying pure until marriage so we never did nothing like that,
one of the many reasons I caught his eye,
he's a nice guy but assertive and believes in that also,

I want to send him a letter saying:
"I don't want that life-if I can't have you-I Miss You-And I am Sorry"
not in those exact words, but with the same meaning and a little more brief but not long

Don't ask about the sorry part, ya I feel ashamed for something I did, but it's not cheating or anything close to that!

If I send it to the college (it's a small community one - where everyone "talks" ), WILL HIS BOSS HAVE TO READ IT and
is that a bad idea (writing the letter) ?
