The point of living is that you still have something important to do. If we counted the stars in heaven we would give up this attempt, saying there are way too many. On earth it seems there are too many of us at times also, and that we are insignificant totally. But as long as you live and breathe you count and you might still be waiting for the day that like a tiny star you might become the brightest star in the hemisphere.

You mean that you used to know what the point of living was.
I do not have a clue. And apparently everyone thinks this is an awful way to think....But if you are truly honest People think your suicidal.
I do not know why we are here. The thought does not consume me but I would like a little direction.
I have good days and bad days. I can accept that.
In fact I am bipolar. So really I have glorious days and horrible days. I still do not want to die.
I do not know the point of living. And even though people are not willing to admit it I do not think anyone knows.
How many strait answers did you get.
Not one person on answers could answer your question.
But yet they can try to lead you to believe you must have a problem.
Sure I will read the passage in the bible again.
Good Wishes to you everyday!

To live a good life is to serve as an example to others. This can be true (in the reverse) if you live a bad life. But generally do what you can to make life just slightly better for the people who come after you - for children, people not as fortunate.
If you are really questioning living tonight, please call 1-800-suicide. If you are wondering in general, try to get to a counselor or therapist. That hotline will help you with either timeframe.

I hate it when I have those days. But usually the next day is always better. Sometimes if you dont know, you have to search for the answer yourself. And when you find it, the answer always seems allot sweeter because you found it and didn't hear it from someone else.

To find out what is around the corner - to experience life to the fullest and when you celebrate your 100th birthday hear your great grand kids say " Boy, she really knows how to live and be happy, I wanna be just like her"

You sound young. When I was young I used to feel the same way. Now I`m 48 and I know the answer. Have patience and you`ll understand too.

Your screen name is msbrightside and you're asking that question?
Seriously though, you are the only one who can asnwer that question. The meaning of your life is tied to who you are. It is your responsibility to define that purpose. Looking outside of yourself for answers will be a fruitless and endless search. The only thing that anyone else can do for you is to encourage you to not lose hope of finding it.

There is no point of living. At least not on my map. Is its location shown on Google Earth? If it is, please show me. This could be a great discovery for us both. I'll totally share any profits with you.
