What is the meaning of life?

Well I read the answers that preceeds mine. In my opinion life is not a circle (coz I serously do not like to go in rounds) it is straight line. There is a sure start and a sure finishing line.And that is life for me.

I disagree that the answer lies within ourselves. To be alive is to be in existence. What does it mean that we came into existence? Meaning requires a plan or design so meaning of life requires God or else the question is meaningless.

We can do things that make us feel good or occupy our time, but we cannot invent reasons for which we came into existence unless we claim to have created ourselves.

On a basic level the meaning of life is to continue the species, whether that is human, animal or any other form of life.
As a person the meaning of life is to learn, grow and develop into the best sort of person you can be.

the meaning of life is unification of your segregated self. it is not religious. it is not psychological nor it is medical. it is as simple as that.

you are there on honeymoon. but it is your body which is there. your mind is there in the office or in the market. you are divided at both the places. you are there on the bed but your mind is there in the past events of the day or imagination of the following day.

this division prevents you from experiencing the life. the experiences are also divided. you experince your love, your hunger, your sex, your prayer, your existence all divided.

you are living life but you are living only a divided part of it. to understand the meaning of life you have to experience it in its fullness.

thereafter you need none to tell you the meaning of life. it is self revealing. it will reveal on you also.

my 10th grade biology teacher said the meaning of life was to procreate.

after some thought...he may be right. almost every creature has the ability to procreate and that is what keeps the cycle going...ie, the circle of life

To understand that there is more than one way to every thing, and thought. Learning is difficult for some but not for others. Smiling, even when you are not happy, really does make one feel better.
