Family is generally considered to be the people that love and support you. Relatives are the people who share your blood, who would be on the same family tree as you. So are your relatives necessarily who you consider to be family? What are your thoughts about this concept.

i agree , that we normally think of family as those closest to us in emotional ways
though i also think of family as in those most closely related to me, my brothers are part of this family, even though we are not close , at the same time some of my friends are part of my family, due to being close
