Hi everyone,

I've been working on a Thank You card to sent out to some people who sent us gifts and cards for the birth of our son.

I assembled one in Adobe Photoshop 6.0 using a digital picture as well as some text from text boxes and a few basic autoshapes from the tools menu.

The problem is that when I bring it to the printing counter at the local pharmacy, It brings kind of blurry (especially the text portion). I resized the pic as a 4x6, and the font I used for the text is Vivaldi, 13.71pts.

I'm pretty sure I have to tinker with the resolution or somthing but to be honest I'm not very good with Photoshop and I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. I'm pretty sure it's not the self-service printer since it prints regular pictures really clearly.

Any pointers would be appreciated.

im a bit of an artist, so i decided to paint my mates sum pictures, because theyre moving away. ive completed one of a rose. only probelm is i used cheap paint. so the red bit of the rose is all cracked and i was absolutely devestated. is there any sort of oil i can put on it or anything to help it 'un-crack' ? (ive already tryed re painting it, but the cracks come back again) plz help! thanks :)

I know...there are so many things i should be thankful for...
but all those things....no matter how i try...
they just can't measure up with all the hate and pain and madness i feel inside me.
I do want to be happy...who doesn't? but my mind...my heart...and my soul won't let me!
thus i blame none but my mind, my heart, and my soul!
and my hostility for them is insanely baffling
I feel ...my end is near...and i deliberately brought it upon me...
and i am guilty for being selfish...for once in my life...I am being selfish.
for the first time in my life...I concede...I am just a gutless wonder ..a no one...
i never really have the true strength to defy what fate had in store for me
How ridiculous i was...for even thinking i could avert this absolute tragedy!
My battle is lost...my cause was merely but an empty vindication.

I've been tipped by other people to place a CMYK bar strip near my painting / still life object when i'm to photograph it. But i'd like to know how the procedure to do proper color correction with the color bar, on Photoshop.

For your info, i do calibrate my white balance in my camera before i shoot.

I'm 13, turning 14 in a month from today.
I want to be a teen actress
On something like Disney Channel
I have a few questions though
I've been in a few plays but no professional ones, do i need to have professional experience?
I live very close to new york so im guessing that will maybe help me out a little.
I dont have an agent. Do I need one to audition for Disney Channel shows?
If so; how much do they cost and what are some good agents around NYC?

My LEGO robotics team would like to use a picture of the LEGO tiger shark, which you can buy and build, as their logo and put it on their uniforms. i just finished it(yea i know im late!) but i noticed ALOT of people on here weren't happy with the epilogue(which is acceptable because it was a bit rushed)

but i see even more is that people werent happy with Harry and Ginny ending up as the Married couple.

some would rather see harry and cho and ALOT of people on here seemed to hope Harry and Hermoine would end up together(although it must of been obvious Ron would of been the future hubby)

even though JKR didnt have alot of time to build more chemistry for Harry and Ginny i found it from the start that they seemed likely to hook up in the end.(just a hunch i guess)

I found one up for auction on proxibid.com in tx. and it is 37 out of 50 and the web page aftonartgallery list the same serigraph as 31 out of 50 as sold so I can't find a good estimate of what to bid. Some of their other works go for Hundreds but I do not want to overpay so what would be a resonable bid?
