i just auditioned for UNC musical theatre two days ago, when will i find out if i got in? i know they have more auditions in feb and those kids will find out in march, but what about the ones who auditioned in oct, do we have to wait till march? or do they do an early decision type of thing so we can reaudition if we didn't get in?
thanks guys!

i really don't know. i just have two friends who have said each is better.
maybe describe first singly and then as a whole. i mean if there was a one on one battle between warrriors or a full on war between the two.

Because we all know America feared communsim as its spread throughout the world threatened americas position as superpower and went against americas beliefs...

Yet Stalin wanted to control the spread of communism and have the communist countries listen to his directions. When they started to develop their own 'versions' of communism he got worried/angry which made the Americans worried and affected the policies they put forward..

What is your opinion...thanks ( im tryin to write a history essay on the origins of tensions between the USSR and US after 1945...)

I'm fourteen years old so I need a song appropriate for my age range. The musical is going to be 'Kiss Me Kate'. Auditions are in december, I need to start preparing now. The song needs to be at least 16 measures long, needs a dance with it, and needs to be memorized. I've auditioned for a few plays before, I've been in a school musical, and I'm in the school choir now, but I'm not sure how to dance. I don't now how I would prepare a dance to go with this song. Any ideas on which song and dance I could use to audition with? I don't know any songs from any plays....

How could a being that experiences time at a different rate ever communicate with one that has a totaly different rate of time experience? Sorta like if you had one person who could see the pulse from ?florescent? lights world would look to someone who couldnt see the pulse. Only on a much scale where the whole world would be at a different rate of pulse.

When you write a novel and its multiple view point (more than one narrating character), how do you notify the reader that a different person is narrating? How do you tell them who it is?

Have you ever read a book with more than one viewpoint. If so, how did that author switch between viewpoints.

P.S. I already know you don't change viewpoints in mid chapter.

what would you say to me to make me change my mind? Can you convince me that this life is worth living? Or you'll just tell me go for it (if you thought of it you're not worth living right)? No nonsense about God...or else :) And have in mind that I'm not a simple person.

Where do you go in your mind to get away from the real world when you need to get away. Is there a forest in your mind that you travel, and created, or a child hood memory that brings you up. Is it a scent that you remember, or what. Where do you go, even if its just for a moment, to give you the rest you need and strenght to move on?

Just got finished reading Inherit the Wind by Jerome Lawrence and i'm wondering what exactly "Inherit the Wind" actually means. I know it comes from the quote: "He that troubleth his own house shall inherit the wind:
and the fool shall be servant to the wise of heart" But what does it mean to Inherit the Wind and how is it relevant to the story? I'm just not seeing the connection.

(PS: 10 points anyone?)
