Because we all know America feared communsim as its spread throughout the world threatened americas position as superpower and went against americas beliefs...

Yet Stalin wanted to control the spread of communism and have the communist countries listen to his directions. When they started to develop their own 'versions' of communism he got worried/angry which made the Americans worried and affected the policies they put forward..

What is your opinion...thanks ( im tryin to write a history essay on the origins of tensions between the USSR and US after 1945...)

You are probably mixing Stalin's intents with those of Trotsky.
1. It was Leiba Trotsky who wanted to spread communism all over the world. Read his "permanent revolution" theory.
2. Stalin just restored the Empire, and extended his rules on the "buffer zone" of Warsaw pact countries.

The origins of Cold War lie in the greedy nature of Western imperialism. It was evil Truman regime who started Cold War with genocide of 2 Japanese cities. Just to show Stalin's empire who wants to control the World Order. However, his narrow-minded advisers miscalculated the consequences.
