what page is the following quote on in harper lee's to kill a mockingbird?
"That's okay ma'am, you'll get to know all the country folks after a while. The Cunningham's never took anything they couldn't pay back- no church basket and no scrip stamps. They never took anything off of anybody. They get along on what they have. They don't have much, but they get along on it."

I know it's in the first half of the book. On scout's first day of school if that helps any!

THanks! I can't find the book right now or else I'd do it myself!

okay so i tried out for "annie", a comunity musical. the auditions were for girls ages 6-14. im fourteen. I am really hoping to play "annie" and i know how becuase i have before with my public school. so anyways i think i was one of like 2 or 3 girls my age at the audition. i am 5'2" and i have curly brwon hair. i am not skinny but im not like, FAT or anything, just average i guess. i am not a great dancer but im a pretty good singer/actress. i think i nailed the audition but i have to wait until wednesday to find out if i made it. do you think i might?? i know i didn't give info and you haven't heard me sing...but i mean i guess my question is: if they are doing a comunity musiacal in a small town, im just young enough, will they judge my age/looks?:SS

I have had 4 full months of challenges. It isn't getting any better, and I fear I may be in a rut. Where may I go for help? I want to somehow recover from the gloom. I don't want medication, just counseling, but I have no insurance.

Seriously, this guy occupied the bestseller lists for literally years after the Da Vinci code came out, and then people bought his earlier books to put them on the bestseller lists.

It's been what, at least 4 years since the Da Vinci Code came out. Hasn't he milked it long enough and when will he come out with his next book? I'm sure it'll put him on the bestseller lists for another couple of years again.

Hey, i need a published and powerful speech that you've heard or read on the internet. It has to be published and it should have a message and meaning. I've searched online but i haven't found anything yet. If you could refer me to a website with a good speech or send me a speech or something it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Years ago in Miami, Florida, my husband did some work for an artist by the name of Glyn Jones, and was paid with a painting. The painting is named "Polynecius" and is based on a Greek myth. It is dated 1974. For the last couple of years I have been trying to find something about this artist, but have had no luck. I wonder if he is the same Glyn Jones who created "Dr. Who"? (I know that he was also an artist.) He spoke with a British accent and was married to a woman named Myra at the time. Does anyone know anything about this artist? Thanks.

"Motion"

There's something special in your motion,
your eyes that sparkle with unending devotion.
Your shine, your light, such enviable attraction,
your smile undimmed, stirs a tingled reaction.

Though I may not know you, I feel your spirit,
true wisdom, your charm, your beauty I'm near it.
an afterglow bright, you leave indelible marks,
in my thoughts, my soul, for I wish to embark.

Upon a journey of your thoughts, your insatiable thirst.
To open my mind, I receive your knowledge first.
Your body a temple, a beautiful morning dew flower,
blessed to perfection, with sensuality and power.
There's something speical.... your Motion....

The back plastic screen cover has a crack, but doesn't effect the picture when viewing it.
If you have the name, address, and phone number of a legitimate Leica repair shop (reputable please), I would be greatly appreciative.
