Truth can be something factual with proof and evidence...
But most people have their own "truths" and live a life rather deluded!
The truth is we all die.

I have been thinking about this a lot today! Thinking about truth and honesty. Are they the same thing? I mean you can't "tell the truth" if you are dishonest can you? And if you are being dishonest, you aren't "telling the truth" are you?
I guess they are inter-linked. Bit like jealousy and envy.

The way you word it also makes a different. What is THE truth, what IS truth, are you truthful...

Now you are just going to think about it even more and I haven't help answer the question at all have I? I have just added more questions, not provided an answer!

LOL
:-)

Truth is a personal perception of something, an opinion no less. In law it is based on factual evidence and whether those facts are positive or negative, they are nonetheless facts and therefore classed as the truth. The Truth is also a book by Terry Pratchett and the name of a Rock band from the 70's.

Truth is the way things really are not what someone thinks, or says or guesses. So there is truth in all different area's and that is the way things really are in each of these area's or disciplines are they are called in school.
Now do we know all truth? NO.. ... so therefore what is truth today is not truth tomorrow as we receive more information.
Now there is spiritual truth, scientific truth etc...
Is this helpful?

The truth is whatever you want it to be... if you want to think that there is a simple answer to the question you are wrong! No 2 people will ever have the same view on anything! No two people will look at the same sunset and see the same beauty! No 2 people will will believe the same thing about GOD! There will be similarities but never the same view on anything!

Is it not prefectly obvious that truth is something we have invented? We as humans cannot seem to want to live within inperfection.. to the point where we kill others over seeking the ultimate, and for what????? For an answer to a question that has no grounding? For GOD's sake stop asking and start living
