God knows I tried,
To be an example to all I know.
But there comes a time in life,
When we must just let go.
There are those out there,
That wish to hurt and confuse.
I guess I'm fed up now,
And tired of the abuse.

It's time to step back now,
For some just won't recieve.
I will not give up hope,
For those who don't believe.
There is a purpose in life,
That God wants me to complete.
And with negativity,
I just cannot compete.
It's such an honor,
That many gave me a chance.
As the music fades,
We all must end the dance

I'm auditioning for the part of Meg in a high school rendition of Brigadoon, and I'm not sure if I should wear a nice blouse and look professional or try to dress the part so it would be easier for the director to see me as the character. Brigadoon takes place in Scotland in the 1800s, so if I dressed the part I would probably be wearing a long, grey pleated skirt with a tunic style shirt. If I dress nicely I'll be wearing a black shirt with lace cap sleeves and jeans with ballet flats.

Rage.
It consumed him.
It coursed through his veins like a drug, forcing him onwards.
A force intangible yet unrelenting.
Through the trees and bushes he ran, thorns and briers ripping at his skin.
The cool night air whipped through him, but couldn’t cool the burning pain.
This was not the pain of the flesh wounds, they were insignificant, this was immense; the fire inside him, driving him insane, keeping him in a state of perpetual agony. To him this torture would never end, but would have to be released somehow, or at least passed on to someone else. At this point only he mattered. There was only him and the pain. Any soul in his way would face naught but paroxysms of rage.
He clumsily sprinted on, not yet knowing where each foot should land, or when.
A hunger was growing inside him which could not be ignored.
It started to rain but he kept running, the droplets steaming off his burning back, he kept running, he didn’t know where or why, but he kept running.

My name is Caleb and Im 14 years old. I've always felt drawn to writing and reading since and young age and Ive wanted to be a writer ever since I was 7. I've been writing since then as well, and now I feel really comfortable with my voice in writing. I read mostly adult books (not porn, but more advanced). I live a normal teenage life, even though Im mature for my age. I also know what sort of trials adults have to go through, and the adult life. I write mature writing through teenager's eyes, (although its still adult) but still, do you think Ive lived enough life to write well enough?
