Have you heard of the painting "The Crying Boy". There is a history behind it and anyone who has a copy of the painting becomes cursed. Usually their house burns down. Does anyone know the full story and have you heard of it?

I discovered at a young age that the concept of nothingness is an impossibilty except on a grammatical level where it is just the negation of 'something.' Does anyone out there have a theory as to how 'nothing' can exist? I am fascinated by this question.

everything I do is useless,
every lung is full of smoke.
I am sad, it doesn't matter,
soon it's gonna be much better,
hope it's gonna be a joke.

guess it will be rain today,
head is heavy, slightly aches.
my life is hard, I hardly write,
I should be closing this web-site,
but I just can't - too much it takes.

Title: The Beach

She cuts a lonely figure
Sitting on the beach,
Knees pulled up and
Arms tightly wound.

There is silence
Except for the waves
Even the traffic had died,
Up on Beach Road.

A seagull watches,
Then bows his head,
In a moment of respect
He cries no more.

As I near her
I see her footprints in the sand,
“Tiny feet!”, I think to myself
As I sit down beside her.

I do not know this girl
She does not know me,
But we sit here together
Staring forward in solidarity.

She has come for healing
For reflection,
Each of us with our own fears
Both wearing scars.

Seeking answers in the crashing waves
White waters rolling.
And as the night tiptoes across the water
We both begin to pray.

Imagine a world where people never see their own image. In such a world, could they be vain about their looks?
