My favorite book is The Stand by Stephen King. It might be a little too deep for you at 14 but who knows you may like it. Try reading the Maximum Ride books by James Patterson. Theyre about an Angel experiment and theyre written for a teenager audience.

I just finished the Harry Potter series, starting with book 1 and ending with the new one that has come out, year 7. I couldn't put any of them down and read them each in about a day. My favorite one was the new one. You should try the Shopaholic series, they are well written and funny.

I just read that you're 14. Get something light that will improve your litterary and gramatical skills. Somehting by Dickens. But the lighter stuff....... Keep it light and fun.
Ask at the library. Some of those librarians know their stuff.
