It means you have too much of a routine in life. Do something different everyday and things will appear to slow up.

I am 22 and I feel like life is just wizzing by me, so I have decided to live life for now!! There are so many things I want to do especially before I am 30 so I can at least say "I tried it!"!!
My grandma is nearly 71 and she says she still feels 21 and that when she looks in the mirror she gets a shock because she realises how old she is getting.
At the end of the day she has lived a good life and should be very thankful she has made so far in life. There are things which she hasn't done which I want to do, like learn how to fly a plane and stuff. So just do everything you desire and don't worry about how short life is because life is too short to worry about it!

When I was at school, I thought 20 was ancient. When my 20’s arrived, I met someone special, we bought a house, married and had 2 children. Then the 30’s arrived. Last week I turned 40 and I am at a loss where the last 10 years have gone. Make the most of your time and try to do things that you want to do, out of the ordinary, and you will then have memories instead of wondering wher the time has gone. Perhaps time does seem to go faster as you get older, I don’t know. I certainly seems like it, and life seemed far less complicated and less serious when I was younger. Don't get stuck in a rut.

I know how you feel, I'm also 18 and it seems like school went by in the blink of an eye! I suppose all you can do is make sure you enjoy every day and fulfill all your dreams so you can look back in a couple more blinks when you're about 80 and think that you've had a good innings.

You aren't even a quarter of the way into your life expectancy. Wait 20 years and then say that again. :)
One more thought... Someone once told me that since we are created in the image of God, we are heavenly creatures. And in Heaven, there is no time. So the concept of 'time' to humans is completely lost. If you locked someone up in a room, for weeks with enough food and water but no clocks, tv or windows, their 'internal clock' would be completely off. Where does the time go? Why does it sometimes drag on forever and other times fly by fast? Think about it!

Depends on perspective.
From another being that lives forever, yes, it would appeaar that we live for only a short time.
For a fly that lives only a few weeks, our lives seem infinite(that is if the fly had the ability to comprehend such a concept).
I see it kind of like the theory of relativity. The closer you travel to the speed of light, time seems to slow down for you, but everyone else is super aging. From our everyone elses viewpoint, you are superaging, and they are aging at a normal rate.

When I was a kid I thought old age was a long, long way off and it really did'nt concern me and really gave it no thought. Now suddenly I'm 63. I do'nt know. Maybe we just have a misconception of time, thinking it's much longer than it really is. Who knows? I find it unusual that someone your age would feel that life is short, but you're right. That 'flash' has begun. I would'nt 'blink' your eyes if i were you.

That was your spirit complaining.
You only feel this way when you have not accomplished anything worthwhile that you can turn around and say "I did that" or "I am a trained...." or "I am a good at this craft, art, instrument" etc.
Take stock of your existence. Maybe change some things. Dont spend all your life force of your body's exclusively into seeking self pleasures. Your "spirit" needs acknowledgment and life experience too.

And at age eighteen you may find days ahead of you still that will take forever to pass, if not longer.
I found time speeding up and slowing down rather quickly as I grew up, but now that I'm retired, I find time goes by at a pretty fast clip, even just sitting on that porch with that friend.
So don't worry, young philosopher... time will tell, and it actually passes with amazing regularity.
