Which of the social changes brought about the Revolution was most significant? Could the Revolution have gone further toward the principle that "all men are created equal" by ending slavery or granting women's rights?

Should the "Founding Fathers" general elitism and indifference to the rights of people, women, African-Americans, and Indians be held against them? Or should they be viewed with more understanding in their historical context?

I recently did a movie and was told because I was getting paid for at least three days of acting, that I would be able to be part of sag and get the wagers for it. I know it cost money after that however, I was told today by the director that I wont be able to join because the film is too low of a budget.... but I was getting at least 100 a day. HELP

What was the Revolution really all about? The amount of taxation? The right of parliament to tax? The political corruption of Britain and the virtue of America? The right of a king to govern America? The colonies' growing sense of national identity apart from Britain? Was the Revolution truly a radical overturning of government and society-the usual definition of a "revolution"?



Were all American grievances justified, or were the British actually being more reasonable than most Americans have traditionally believed?

I read part of this book called "flowers for algernon". it's really sad. it's about a man named charlie who is mentally challenged. after an operation, he turns into a super genius until he finds out he will die because of the operation. would life be easy if you were really smart? it seems like charlie only had problems when he was smart.

I'm really interested in long exposure photography. I need to give a report in school about a photographer but can't think of anyone. I did a paper before on Hiroshi Sugimoto, so I can't do it on him again.

Who are some photographers that do it (preferably of cities/streets/etc) who also have books written about them? I need actual print material on them, not just websites.

I have a few ideas, but only from an outsiders perspective. Anyone know any good directional sites? I think I:

1. Move to _________?
2. Get a talent agent?
3. Hire a photographer so I can put together a porfolio?
4. Create profiles for casting sites?

Is anyone experienced in starting an acting career? What steps did you take to get into film? (That's what I'd like to do, get into actual films that will be shown in theaters, not stage productions).
