The desire to love and be loved makes its own arrows; and the need is sometimes stronger than clear vision.
A shield may keep out Cupid's arrows, but how can it distinguish the good from the bad? And how can a shield protect you from the arrows you make for yourself?
Experience and honesty enable us to say yes, or no, or to take the chance of an unknown outcome and make it known.

We humans are not yet all perfect, not all-loving and not all-wise.
Real love is the desire to do good to others.
Young humans about ages 12-35 often are looking for lust or wealth or security, etc and thus all are selfish satisfactions that often go wrong. Hopefully we all are learning from our past mistakes.
Usually an illusion results fast in a delusion :)) Love those who are less loving than you are; and that does help in the big picture of Supreme Reality.
If you look in the upper corner of a typical room as representing love, then the three planes that make up that 3D corner could be thought of as planes of truth, beauty and goodness - a "beautruthness love" An abstract, non-emotional male Theologian's way of looking at love. Ha ha.
Love, mercy, truth, beauty and goodness are all Supreme or higher Values and the highest one in love. God is love, and more so than any other attribute of His Infinite I AM nature.
Spirit-led humans are able to give some divine Fatherly love as well as brotherly love.
Is fake "Cupid" one step higher or lower than fake "Casper the ghost" ? I never had "Fakeology 101" in college LOL

When it comes to love, I can never see straight. They say love is blind ,The idea, of a perfect vision seems real, But maybe could be false.I will never know unless i open, The new door of love.Nothing seems real in this world ,But love is very real indeed. And sometimes cupid might be playing games with human lives. But amongst the confusion there could be something truly special hidden. To be discovered and explored.Love is a gamble.

Love is obvious. It sometimes misleads a person, as for you think it is already love. It sometime depicts an illusory image that transmit to you heart and your easily responds to it and begin pumping and its heartbit runs as fast as the illusory image flies in the wind showing its illusory like a true warrior and only to turn into vain. Love may really be a syndicate trying to commit a crime and letting the victim succumbs to a make believe situation and after winning the heart of the victim through deception will escape. Oh! what is love? Why love? A love thought.......
Great question my friend. Have a wonderful day!

because you can see no wrong or do no wrong when in love which is an illusion..because people like me get blinded by love and because because love makes you do stupid, interesting and odd things that we would not do..love is something that you think you know what it is except that you do not like a puzzle or a mystery...love can be and illusion because it goes against everything you believe in as a person and you get your hopes up only to have them crushed half of the time..because you are head over heels for someone, that you feel a connection with the person, ignore everything and what you see is not what you get..love is an illusion in the beginning of relationships because you think that is how love is always going to be only to find out that loves changes and in some cases grows while in other cases fades away..

I suppose the old saying could be true, you never know when love will strke. It may be possible that you could be deluding yourself into believing that what you may be feeling for a particular guy is love when in fact he was the perpetrater of the illusion. We have all been there before and the times I have felt the pangs of heartbreak I had no one to blame but myself. Sometimes we want something so badly that we convince ourselves into believing that we have found true love.

Love is sometimes an illusion because we choose it to be an illusion. Love is sometimes a delusion because, again, we choose it to be. What is an illusion to some may already be a delusion to some.
Cupid will always send arrows. You are responsible in interpreting whether they are bad or not.

I think there are different types of love. Maybe we can get confused as to which type of love we should feel. I think in a general way all things are worthy of our love.
Actually I got hit pretty hard by bad arrows too, but I just try to think it isn't COMPLETELY wrong, so I try to console myself with thinking there is a type of genuine love that fits, but I made a mistake in my interpretation of the love.

Love becomes an elusive delusion when it is not reciprocated, as though Cupid was drunk and missed when he sent your would be paramour an arrow for you.
