I'm really interested in long exposure photography. I need to give a report in school about a photographer but can't think of anyone. I did a paper before on Hiroshi Sugimoto, so I can't do it on him again.

Who are some photographers that do it (preferably of cities/streets/etc) who also have books written about them? I need actual print material on them, not just websites.

I found Chris Faust at shutterbug.com. Its a nice article about his long exposure photography. He does have a book, "NOCTURNES" but I don't know if that will suffice.

Hope this helps.

Do some research on Ansel Adams. He is well known for photographic stunning landscapes, particularly images of Yosemite Park, in California.

Many of his images were taken in low light conditons, such as late afternoon and dusk to night time. Some of these had to be taken with long, long exposures. Also, when a large depth of field was required, he had to set his equipment with a VERY small apreture, which, also, needed longer exposure.
