Blue. It just fits in with nature, it is a cool colour when it's hot. And if it's cold, even blue sweaters and scarves look great and colour up the 'pale' of winter.
Blues look lovely on beds, with brown, white, green, black, yellow, in fact any colour.
My vote is blue.

Apparently a psychology report recently stated that it was red. 98% of people if asked to reply the first thing that would come into their mind describing a colour and a tool would reply a 'red hammer'. This is the 'normal' reply. Try it out on people and see what results you get - I was quite surprised.

as there are more boys than girls at the moment (as per statistics), i guess it is blue and more of the male colours
