Jesus made a pretty good mark in the history books, after all we record all of history in reference to his birth BC/AD. If he was just a normal person or prophet, its unlikely that we would use that as a marking point.

Also: What are some beneficial primary sources to have to understand how close Ban Zhoa's lessons were to the time?

Since all perception is observer based how can we be sure of any event at any time is happening the way that we understand it to be happening.

For example, two men with guns walk into a bank carrying bags. Three people see this and see three different things.
Person one sees the guns and the bags and believes that it is a robbery.
Person two sees the guns and the insignia on the bags and believes they are guards transporting valuables to the bank.
Person three sees the bags and remembers the men’s faces from the news as being plain clothed police officers investigating a robbery.

Three people see the same event and come to three different conclusions, and while I know that this event is out of context and they would all know soon enough what was happening the old adage is true, first impressions last. So my question is...

How can we trust our perception of events at any time if we are unable to determine the truth behind a situation in the moment?

Please explain your reasoning.

Thanks.

Just wondering, I've read someplace in some magazines that some country singers don't eat much or not all all before they go on stage? Why is this? does it affect their voice? or is it something else?

I have an abnormally high-pitched voice for a 31 y/o woman. Think of Elmo, and there you go. In all seriousness, how does one become a voice-over artist? Do you make a demo and just randomly mail it to studios?

Thanks in advance :-)

Can the strap be upside down? It is the L-1 Onori strap, leather. I don't know which end to attach to my guitar neck--the end that carries the Onori label (ingrained in the leather) or the narrow braided end.

Ok, so my teacher has told us we need to have this book called The World's Greatest Speeches 4th Edition. But the problem is, it hasn't been printed since '72. So, naturally it costs 25 bucks and up. My mom refuses to pay that much for a book that I'll probably never read again and I can't find it for cheaper than 18 bucks! But, when I tried to buy the 18 buck one, it said that it was out of print! GRRRR. So aggravating. Anyone know a good place to find a bargain on it? Please help me...I have to have it in ONE WEEK...

The First english colonists were treated, for the most part, like friends by most Native American tribes they met. As time passed, the colonists ignored Native Americans while infringing on their lands. As a result, some Native Americans attacked colonial settlements spawning counter attacks and uprisings against friendly tribes. Are the colonists at fault for failing to better understand their situation and dealing with it more peacefully? If so, why??

I have come to the determination and conclusion that self-absorption is actually good. It DOESN'T mean selfishness, but focusing on the self to realize what is a good life, improve introspection to work on weaknesses, intellect, habits, change bad to good habits, realize the wrong one may have done to others, feel remorse, reflect, etc.
