Jesus made a pretty good mark in the history books, after all we record all of history in reference to his birth BC/AD. If he was just a normal person or prophet, its unlikely that we would use that as a marking point.

I agree that Jesus was an important figure in the history of the world. I would note, however, that not every culture uses the birth of Jesus as the demarcation point for their calendar. The Chinese base it on the first empire in ancient China; the Jews use an event from the Old Testament; and the Muslims use the flight of Mohamed from Mecca to Medina.

So, when you write "We," you may want to be a bit more specific.

True. There was just a story on the History Int'l channel about the Zodiac, and it seems that His natal chart was unique. There is a date in March of 7BC that the person born then and there will change the world. And so He did! Every planet was in its 'home' sign at that time. I don't know the details, but the idea is fascinating.

Not an answer - just a thought.
For those who are not Christians, we now record history using BCE (Before the Current Era) and CE (Current Era).
We as "normal" people have the ability to use any marking points in history, and since Christianity is not the only world religion, we can agree on a more suitable marking point.

p.s. Thanks for the thumbs down, I am used to intolerance by now. I know you don't like the facts ( we use BCE/CE now, christianity is NOT the only major religion - but it's time you get used to it.
