‘Time’, defines the units of existence (hours, days, years, and so on…). Existence only exists as a result of ‘mans’ consciousness. In-other-words, when you pop your clogs existence doesn’t exist. So does time go to the grave with each!

Direct a film? Because I wrote a screenplay and I want to pitch it to agents but if it's picked up, I'd like to direct it. How do I do that? Do I have to work as a producer on a big film first and then take that experience and show it to a film studio so they'll let me direct a film or what? How do I get to be a director of my own film?

My little 3 year old cousin ,Faith, is very sick. She has Aplastic Anemia. This is where the bone marrow is being destroyed in her body.
I wanted to send her Mom a poem to encourage her but when I try no words come to me. All that comes to me is sadness and tears. The family is very Christian and every one is praying. I want to give Faith and her Mom something more.

Can you please help me with a poem for them?

I've had 1 year experience with an OK digital consumer camera and are limited to my town, half-day trips to chicago and occasional vacations to tourist traps (disney, etc.) Keep in mind I'm no professional with tons of equipment and locations, but be constructive in judging me...

Is love of pleasure or fear of pain the bigger, important motivator in our lives that rules much of what we do?

There is no God or, at the very least, no reason to believe in one. There is an objective reality, but no objective meaning or purpose in the universe. Any meaning a person assigns to his life is limited to himself, and has no objective truth. Life is only an accident of natural processes, and all spiritual experiences can be explained in natural terms. The "soul" is a name given to mere consciousness, and is just the subjective experience of a functioning nervous system. Science is the only tool with which to accrue knowledge of the universe. There are likely limits to what the human brain can grasp, as it has just been selected to help us survive in the world. It is possible that the "big" questions such as, "why is there something instead of nothing", are meaningless, and that the brain is at fault for not being able to comprehend something without an initial cause.

It seems that as Chriatinaity spread that Rome began to decline, eventually being tax exempt and bishops (Especally the Bishop of Milan) gaining too much influance over the emperors. Finally the Alter of Victory being removed from the Senate. Any opinions?

Let's assume, for the sake of argument, that it is OKAY to kill another living thing, but only if it was needed to save your life (to eat, or if they were attacking you). Would it be therefore justifiable to, take the life of millions, maybe billions (humans and/or animals) in order to sustain your own lifespan indefinatly? Please do not bring up religion, as that usually leads to simplified answers like say, "That's not what would Jesus would do", but use actual answers. Keep in mind this is hypothetical.
