So will any light meter work for use with a view camera? To answer this question it really all depends upon what kind of photography you are doing. For example, if you are doing studio work and are using strobes it is absolutely necessary to have an incident light meter.
On the other hand if you are a fine art photographer, and are practicing the zone system of photography, then you need a reflective light meter.
The Sekonic Digilite l328 is able to measure both reflective and incident, so to answer your question, this meter is appropriate for all types of view camera work. However, the key is to know when to use a incident and when to use a reflective light meter.

Yes, any light meter will work with your view camera.

If you don't own a light meter yet, I suggest you consider a 1 degree spot meter. A 1 degree spot meter allows you to more easily "pinpoint" the area you consider most important and expose for it. Choose one that also has "averaging" - you take a reading of the lightest and darkest parts of your scene and the meter will give you an average. The Minolta SpotMeter M is a good choice (since I own one I'll admit to bias). Pentax and Sekonic also offer 1 degree spot meters.

Ansel Adams developed the Zone System for exposure. Reading either his books on it or books by other devotees will be very helpful to you.

Since you didn't specify how experienced you are I suggest reading books about using the view camera. IMO reading about photography and photographers is always useful. If there is a group of view camera users near you, join it.

There is a yahoo! tech group 'Largeformat' if you haven't already found it.
