.... vindication; restitution; reciprocity; a satisfaction of the demands of the law..... sometimes more graciously than the offending party deserves.... it's what everyone seeks at one point when they've been wronged or 'robbed' of something.........
....... some people confuse justice with 'getting even'.......
true justice is rooted in wisdom, with the desire for vindication at the heart of it ... getting even is rooted in foolishness, with vindictiveness rooted at the heart of it........
There are rules that govern, that are standard of what is right and expected from individuals, from society. These rules are the Law. when there is a trespass against the law, the law requires appeasement, that is why there is consequence to wrongful actions, as if there were no consequences... there would be no means of maintaining order... and all would be chaos.
true justice is not always getting what you want..... or seeing the person who's wronged you suffer........ but true justice meets and satisfies the demands of the law for the consequence of the offense commited, yet administers it wisely, and mercifully....... in all circumstances despite what party the outcome favours........
supposing there was a quarrel, and one party's at fault, there may be vindication for one, judgement for the other........ perhaps both parties are wrong, true justice then would rule in favour of neither........
wisdom and justice go hand in hand, as one can not exist without the other.
hope that helps........... i'm awful tired presently..... lol

The right of jurors to vote "not guilty" based upon their determining a law, itself, to be unconstitutional, in addition to considering the "facts" in the case.
People are often unaware of this, or removed from jury duty if they ARE aware of it, or else they're given false instructions prior to a trial.
Also, adherence to the U.S. Constitution instead of "rape shield laws" and other forms of Feminist Jurisprudence.
