Is it possible ,in a third person story ,to switch point of views?
I mean for example ,in the harry potter stories,would it have been possible when the characters were separated to go to someone else's point of view instead of harry's like in the lord of the rings when they had almost three separate story lines?I know that the lord of the rings was a different type of style,but i could not think of another example.

What I wish to do is this: I wish to develop a plot for my short story from a raw idea, while developing it gradually, adding ONE subplot (so as to make it short, but interesting), and developing my characters, but most of all, I wish to have a jolly good time doing it, without thinking of the amount of responsibility I must take in order for it to be a career. I already know that it is a great responsibility, but I do not wish to think in those terms, for it shall only spoil my fun, and make it so that I am not motivated to do it for the long term.

I Also wish to do it using only a notebook and pen, for it is all I have at my disposal.

I think my poems are good, but they definitely sound like poems. What is the difference between something that reads like a poem, and something that reads like a song? What should I keep in mind when I try this new style?

I recently purchased three of these photographs and I would like to keep them in view otherwise what is the point of having bought them ? You can see the ink still in the tube but when you try to right with it...it just makes indents on the paper. I've also tried unscrewing the little cap thingy but that doesn't work at all.
