You can see the ink still in the tube but when you try to right with it...it just makes indents on the paper. I've also tried unscrewing the little cap thingy but that doesn't work at all.

primarily the reason why pens dont release ink is due to a clog or a drying of the ink. the best way to correct this it to dip the pen in hot water.
another great way is to put the metal tip of the pen over a small fire by candle or match.
i doubt that jell ink pens would have this problem, though.

I'd buy another one, but probably after I've hit the pen on the table a couple times, most certainly to no avail.

Lick your finger and then rub the tip of the pen on your finger!

Heat the end of it with a match or lighter, just a couple of seconds
