In the matters of heart it is the packaging that attracts first but the interest is sustained only by the surprise in the package. A good package with worthless insides is cast aside soon but the heart of gold inside a poor package is worth a million attractive vacuous packages. Am I making sense?

The surprise in the package. Although, to some degree, I think we are all influenced by the packaging because it sets up an expectation. One has to be patient and not jump to conclusions about the packaging, because it might be misleading. Packaging is a temporary and transient thing. The most satisfying moment is finding the real gift inside.

Packaging, must say. Packaging isn't always the appearance at face value, as it can be perceived qualities of the object or person. Packaging isn't as much physical, but behavioral for assessing people. And the packaging of an object tells give indications to what it may be (useful? not useful?).

The surprise factore is not desirable when a person wants stability from all variables beyond the self for whatever reason. Surprises are for the lighthearted.

It would be the unexpected package that would surprise me the most. A package is a package; it the whole deal both inside and out.

Pretty packages are nice but it is what is inside that is the most important.
