Old memories never disappear
I wish I could relive them
But, it is impossible
Nobody can make this miracle happen
For I believe I can live with them
When I'm alone...

Hogwart students graduate at age 17, 18 at the latest. So the way that I see it, how could Teddy still be there? How can he still be a student? And I understand that he was "snogging" Victore.

right, i am 16 (very newly) i have left school and am just about to start college in september. I will not be studying acting at college. At the moment i have a real fascination in the film acting industry, granted this is a new fascination. The reason being after seeing many interviews with young acomplished actors/ actresses they have all said that they dearly enjoy their jobs and i can see exactly why. I know that a few answers will say that this is a mere fad etc and that i should start out at a local theatre etc and i accept this. But i would like to ask of others exeriences and thoughts on the matter.

So my question is how do you think i should go about pathing a career in the british film industry? and please be fully open and share all your thoughts! :D.. thanks you and hopefully i shall receive some good answers!

First of all you should know I'm a Christian, so I don't need any repent and be saved answers.

ok, so since i'm a Christian I believe that God is orderly & therefore the world he made has to follow certian laws (natural laws). I'm aware that past scientists used this to discover math and other laws of the universe (Law of Gravity, Laws of Motion, etc.). What I get from this is that we can use these univseral laws and apply them to everyday things (in a way like those scientists did).

I'm sure everyone is aware of the mathmatical "law" that two negatives equal a positive and a positive and negative equal a negative. I was always taught that two wrongs don't make a right...how is that true? It's proven by mathematical law that they do...

Anytime there's a negative with a postive the negative wins.
Anytime there's a neagtive greater than a positive in addtion it results in a negative...

Doesn't that imply that evil overcomes good unless the good is greater? (unless using multiplication)

So is this a multiplicitive world or and additive world?

If you think there is, do you have any examples? Are they as obvious as those WWII posters and commercials? Or are they more subliminal?

And not only war-like propaganda but more in general like health and stuff that kind of makes people want to be a better citizen. Kind of like the propaganda that encouraged all the Chinese citizens during the Mao reign to kill little birds that made annoying sounds only to find out too late that those birds were beneficial to them in that they would eat the mosquitos.

Have any of you dancers been pressured by your teachers to lose weight? Lots of girls, including myself, have eating disorders at my studio in my competition line, because the thinnest girls are always front row center...but they're very hypocritical because once they notice you've lost weight, they talk to you about it and tell you that you need to be careful etc...sound like a lose : lose situation to you?

I mean, we allow out sourcingof all kinds of jobs and manufacturing and such, but this one area is a no no to cheaper companies outside of us. If your reply is that those drugs are not safe, I say stop and ask yourself when was the last time that you heard about people in canada or europe all falling over in masses and dying because their drugs were not safe. It has to because of lobbyists fattening the pockets of our congress more than anything else!!!

How can conservatives and republicans speak about being men of god and not care enough about those who die who cannot afford health care due to their life circumstances?? being a person of god means you care and try and love all, but watching so many americans die because they cannot afford the soaring cost of health care is totally unamerican. i dont care if you think its a socialist plan or a capitalist plan or whatever plan, if you could have done something about it but you chose not to because you are afraid that your own medical coverage might be shared is pathetic. Even the worst totalitarian governments across the world have health care for the poor.
also, the argument that medical advances would cease in this country is another pathetic argument which really says that all doctors think about is money and self interest which is directly at conflict with the reaon why they entered the field to begin with, i dont want a doctor who is out for financial gain!!

systems, let's just go with the premise that GOD is everywhere
and in everything....besides which, God is not a tangible object...
not to shut out atheists..I would like them to respond as well... this is not a religious question...so please refrain from the GOD debate...Go back to the top of the question.....for me, it's a no-brainer......

There is something quite pressing that I must make clear immediately.
I am afraid I am going to have to take that donut. That donut with the chocolate frosting. The one with the soft, fluffy cake and the white-paper wrapper. Yes, the donut that is virtually indistinguishable from the 16 to 20 other donuts around me at this time.
This is the sole donut I have singled out. Granted, it happened to be the first to enter my field of vision as I came in the room.
The donut situated in that location is the donut of my desire. The one at which I am at this moment intently staring. That is the donut that I will shortly be removing from its wrapper and consuming. The sooner you grasp the reality of this, the easier it will be for all of us.
While the donut in question is not, at this time, officially "mine," I wish to make it known, in no uncertain, vague, or ambiguous terms, that under absolutely no circumstances will anyone other than myself be eating that donut.

I really would like some advice from fellow artists, portfolio examiners and students who have experience in this art portfolio area.
I am in highschool now and in my last year, i am taking Higher Art (Art A-Level Equivalent) in 6th year of school.
I think that im in a bad situation to put together a portfolio for Art/Design School.
Important question:
How much time in general does it take to put together a good portfolio from scratch??

My choices to get into art school::

Try and put together a portfolio for applying to art school once the new semester starts..this on top of my Higher Art and 3 other subjects. Put porfolio together within about 6months ( including all the school work i have) and apply in Feb/March after starting school in August.
or
Go through 6th year and do a few art pieces as to my liking and then after i leave school, go to a college take a year or half a year out to specifically make a portfolio.

Im really lost and would like advice and help.
