I would like to find out if someone died here or if there is a paranormal history.
Some weird stuff has been happening and i would like to know the history, so I can feel like I have a better idea of who may be doing all this.

Go into your county public records - the property appraiser's records and find out who has owned the house before you. Then try to contact them I guess to see if they had any experiences like that. You might also search the local newspaper archives for any stories on the house. Search the web. I don't know of any paranormal experience databases but I'm sure they probably exist out there.

I would start with the county auditor (they may have a real estate section on their website, or you might be able to get info with a phone call) or the local library. You should be able to find out who all the past owners of the home were. Then you can do research online, with local newspapers and at the library to gather any information available on those people.

Go to the County Clerk's of the county you live in. They would have an abstract of all the previous owners of the house. Then go to a library and look through old newspapers or microfilmed newpapers and see if anything turns up. This will be a major search.

Maybe from the real estate agency, that sold the house to you they should have some history of who's been living or perhaps died there. Hope it's not haunted.

The Abstract of Title will tell you previous owners. If you don't have it, your lawyer or bank might.

Check county death records to see if the owners died shortly before the property changed hands.

i thought the same thing when i moved my new house, that is an old house. and my dog was going nuts and always looking at the ceiling and crying. so i called the city and they were able to tell all kinds of details. so i would just call the city you live in.

they gave me the names of the family who had it built.
