Symbolates are real objects. For example, the act of symbolization endows the rod with a power it did not possess previously. Ordinary rods have no effect on audiences, but scepters do. Humanity lives in a world of diffuse powers and possibilities and therefore creates "Symbolates" or "Symbols" to describe and manipulate it.

Can we walk ever so quietly,
light footed on the lonely mudbricks?
The night is young our clothes just right;
you in all lace and I in a velvet hush.
My heart is restless and the skyis so blue...
Can we walk these slow paces just me and you?

I need to read a 250+ pg book for my college American History course. I enjoy reading but need to get through it quickly, so PLEASE nothing boring. Anything during the timeframe extending from the first settlements in American to about 1900. Topic can be anything. Please help...I have currently gone through several books already...but have either found they were immensely boring and in one case not wholly ture historically.

Since Kant didn't travel very far, how did he obtain information on other countries and their people? Did he have someone working for him or did he just make up information on other cultures? Also could you please provide a link to your source.

If you could give the gift of life-long happiness to anyone ALIVE and ON THE EARTH today, who would you give it to? And, if someone offered you the gift of life-long happiness, would you accept it? Only serious answers, please.

Born to fly (if I were)
If I had wing I could fly if I had wings I would be free to go places and explore I see the sky and wonder why we don't have wing to fly I feel I was born to Fly If I were and angel I could save lives cause I was born to fly When the day is done and darkness falls I watch as the eagles Fly and Ask God why I don't have wing cause I was born to fly
