You can't stop others, but you can stop labeling yourself.
you can stop labeling others
"geezer"
"turbo"
"emo"
"yuppie"
"soccer moms"
"ghetto"
"goth" etc.
stop putting people in categories.
you can stop it. don't do it to yourself or others.
don't define your own groups by exculsion of others.
don't define others by labels.
Start the trendyourself.
you can't control what others do.
try to understand whytheydo it.

Let them label me if they really have nothing better to think about. Some people have this weird obsessive compulsion to categorize things because they're control freaks. If they have to put a label on me to make themselves feel safer in the world, so things will continue to make sense to their shortsighted minds. let them have their delusion. The key is to not care about the labels people put on us. I think people find that hard.

I agree, I don't like going into AA and saying Hi my name is ---------and I'm an alcoholic.
I should be saying Hi my name is______ and I have a massive hangover. (ok...ok.... I have trouble with drinking too much).
Don't accept the label. And remember......... don't give them either.
