I do not know what to wear to my casting audition thing. im 13 and i was thinking of wearing a tube top with jeans and my tennis shoes...Also i was going to wear makup that makes me look older...but good idea or bad? Also i dont know how to wear my hair. If anyone who has had experience can tell me that would be great!..Oh ya, they said to wear something "cute"??

I know I should wait until I'm "demo ready" and until I feel confident that I'm at a competitive level with other VA's in LA. But I could spend my whole life saving money for this move. What's the minimum I should bring with me to LA? I've been saving up money from my job (which I'll be quitting soon to focus more on my VO classes), and I was wondering how much money I should have before I make the big move. Do you think $17,000 is enough? I'm 22, and I know a lot of young people like me who just decide to move to LA to either make it or break it. I'm starting to feel the same urgency! I have really great instincts and I'm like a duck in water when it comes to VO, but I know there's still a lot for me to learn, especially about the business. But I don't want to screw things up for myself. My youth makes me want to grow as fast as I can, and I feel like not living in LA is making me take a million baby steps to grow. Please, I need a pep talk from fellow peers in the industry!

I just read this book called Paradise Park by Allegra Goodman. In it, the protagonist Sharon (who believes in Jewish mysticism) talks about how we're born with knowledge but as babies, we have no way of communicating what we know. Also, Socrates said, in that we already have innate knowledge of some things, and we need to be asked the right questions to bring it out. What do you think of this?

I'm 14 years old, and I want to act in a show that's on the disney channel or something. I love to sing, and I've never really acted before, but I'd like the chance to. I need sugjestions for songs to play on my acoustic guitar at parties for people when I got to college in the fall. I am learning to play the acoustic guitar, but my mom found a really nice set for learning the electric guitar, but it explain the guitar so well. will I be at a complete loss if I try to learn the acoustic guitar from the electric book (of course I will ignore the electric parts of it) Thanks a bunch:)
