The family of (murdered along with Nicole Simpson) Ron Goldman has bought the rights to the book that O.J. failed to publish under the title "If I Did It". Apparently, the Goldman family wants to get the book published under a different title, such as "Confessions of a Double Murderer".
If it IS published, with the proceeds going to fund the expenses of those still pursuing O.J. in the civil courts, will anyone else but me be buying it?

there's a series of lsd vids on youtube, and they did an experiment on this one guy (sorry forgot name, it's in the video)- he took acid, while another man ("normal" state of mind) sat there and interviewed him, and the man who was tripping, said he escaped to these other realities which seemed to last for months- but on tape its just a few seconds...
so...
do you think it's the "druggie effect"
or...
is it a possible indicator that there's parallel realities?
i mean what if that was the way we were meant to see things.
take insects don't they see colors we can't perceive-
so maybe we're just blind to what's 'out there' just as we can't see molecules/atoms- they're still there.
so what if colors really did speak, and sounds really were colored?
or is it a stoner's paradise?

Especially when they get posted on Philosophy? I am not hating on those people that do ask these questions but where is the philosophy on such questions? A flower is a flower either pink or white. What colour you choose and why you choose it is a question of psychology, isn't it?

This question isn't a philosophical one either but it's just something I want to share with you fellow philosophers.

Has anyone noticed how regularily responses start with 'typical' or 'classic' as if that invariably lends weight to their dismissive reasoning?

Both born in Kent, England. Emigrated to USA 1912. (Camden, New Jersey)
Ivy married Albert Hennis Menz, Olive, known as Phylis, married someone surnamed James. Maybe American records are more accessible . Ivy died in August 1986. Phylis sometime before this.
Thanks to all the people who have answered, but I still don't have the parents!

I think they should of kept it without the Communist star over the sickle and hammer.
I just don't see how having a red, white & blue flag as very original.

I'm new to photography, and I am having a heck of a time learning the keys to good lighting indoors. I was at an anniversary party, and was fooling around with flash, and all it did is wash out my subjects and put way too much contrast between them and the background. Even when the background is only 4 feet away, it will be fairly dark, and the subject will be washed out with white. These were candid shots, so there was no pre-planned lighting. Also, even with the white balance adjusted, the photos seemed very... fluorescenty. It was hard to get any warmth out of them. The photos without flash were great, but with flash, they don't look good at all.

I have a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ20. Its a great camera, but the flash seems so harsh and miscolors my subjects so bad. Is there any way I can change any of this?

This totally blows my mind.

I just don't get how some front-line, worst of the Nazi men, like Dr. Josef Mengele (who subjected children to his "scientific tests" that were nothing more than just whims of evil curiosity), or Dr. Fritz Hippler (who created the propaganda that had a large part in popularising the "answer to the Jewish question") manage to live 30-50 or more years post-war?
