while I personally suffered a great loss of loved ones through heart failure, stroke, lung cancer, etc and they are all terrible. I think I would like to keep my brain young. Why? well I always remember who I am, the people who love me and the people I love, I'll always have my memories and remember my experiences(good and bad) it's what's made me who I am, with my mind I will have my personality, my soul, me, my life. everyone who has touched me with their love and kindness, to feel sorrow and pain, to be disappointed, happy, sad, loved. I will have it all because I will remember it all. Your questions are always thought provoking enki, I hope you will add me to your contacts, I love your deep thoughts and mind provoking questions and you are a master of both. I look forward to your other thoughts and questions. see u enki and have a lovely day.

If I could keep one part of my Body Young forever, it would be my Brain, because I would want to remember what is going around me when I am bed ridden, and I would not want anyone take advantage of me. I am a very independent person, and have always fought for my rights.

Enki I have enjoyed your questions since coming to YAHOO Answers. This one makes me think and then think again. Having experienced my Youth, I can think of nothing else that would compete with being young and unknowing. One of the Secrets of Life is never going back, just think about the past as you face the future. The "If" theorem can dominate ones' life keeping one from going forward with life. Thus, thru enough trial and error in my lifetime I have chosen to eliminate several words from my vocabulary, ie: try, like and if.
However, because I enjoy your questions, I now choose to respect your question with the following answer: Dementia is a terrible thing for folks as they begin to reach the end of their life in this dimension. Therefore, it would have to be the brain.
Keep the questions coming.

Nothing. What is the point of keeping one part of yourself young forever if it will not grow and mature. What is the point of keeping it young if the other parts of yourself will go old and die, they will just pull the "young" part down to the grave.

My face...'cause it's the first thing everyone sees, and what I must look at every time I take a glimpse into a mirror. Luckily, for me...I have a youthful-looking face already....as a result of good genes. Most people tell me I look at least 10 years younger than what I actually am...they think I'm a young high schooler or college kid.

My spirit. For the physical body is of no importance, but the spirit should remain young forever.

My mind!
Having had a stroke at a young age I can tell you it is horrible to have to struggle to get your body to move because the brain is sending the wrong signals not to mention trouble remembering things you know you should. I still get names of appliances confused! Now I laugh before I cried.

May face because I have to see it in a mirror several times a day and it is the part of my body most people see first.
