What is the secret to being always happy?

hypothetically speaking, your in a situation where you have to choose one life for the fate of all mankind, e.g. you have to kill a person (not of your choosing and not yourself) to save evryones life. is it right to kill that one for the many? *i convince myself that it would be right but then thought of the prospect of having to kill, say a little crying girl and now i think i couldnt. im not sure if the lives of everone else would justify hers?*

is it a quest for points, search for a better answer, a need to feel included in questioning or just plain laziness in thought, that I keep seeing the question "what is the meaning of life?".

I was reading an article about ego based love and how it hurts us. It was saying that we are all connected and we in our minds create this illusionary divide and yearn to fill it with a specialness that causes hurt and heartbreak. I thought it interesting in saying that we go looking for something we already posses. I just wanted to ask a few people what is love to you?

ok, i come from a middle class family but am myself poor and could be stereotyped as somewhat of a hippie. i hae not embraced capitlism, i have chosen a life free from money/debt worry but will enevitably remain poor my entire life if my trends remain. now, since it is known that higher class people have more oppurtunities open to them because of wealth, (better schools, homes, jobs, quality of life and life lenght) am i being greedy, selfish, self rightious towards my (unborn) kids because i have chosen not to be part of capitalism? kids are the future after all.

He is or used to be a writer for David Letterman. He wrote an unauthorized biography of George Bush. He says he couldn't get anybody to talk to him so he just made it up. It's probably pretty funny. What's the authors name? Robert something. Thanks.

Having money is "right".
Having money is "wrong".
Having money is "morally neutral".

A fourth option?

should LOVE be dealt with a serious disposition or a carefree disposition?

Should love take you deep(engulfing your soul) or take you high(emancipating your soul)?

:-)

Hey! So I bought silver spray paint a few months ago to do this very elaborate art project, but after I had finished it, I looked at the back of the paint and it said that there was lead in the paint. I'm pretty sure that this is illegal, isn't it? I bought it from a big chain (Michael's) and it kind of surprises me that they carry it. I feel really ripped off because I can't sell my project as I had planned, since I don't want to give anyone lead poisoning. Also, I have all this leftover paint that I can't even use. I lost the receipt, but do you still think a refund is possible? Does anyone know if the paint was illegal to sell? Also, if anyone has any idea whether or not I could use some special sealent so that the paint could not chip and thus not cause any harm to anyone else.

I have written a few poems.. not the best ones out there, but I would love to share them with everyone else, thing is I don't want anyone to copy one and claim it as their own.

Now, my question is how can I get my poems copywritten .. and how much will it take out of my pocket? Maybe a little guesstimate..

and one last thing..

Is it possible to make my poems into a book for my own personal enjoyment .. ?

Thank you for your help :O)

I keep coming across instances where Americans in particular seem to have real difficulty in telling the difference between Scottish ancestry and culture and Irish ancestry and culture. If they did their research properly it wouldn't be a problem.

for example, if you rob a bank all the cops woudl have to do would be to get on google earth and watch the video from the time of the robbery.

if you shoot someone all the police would have to do is pulll up the location of the shooting and watch for someone to be shot.

etc.

This is a SERIOUS SERIOUS thing. A crazier example that I can think of would be down the line when the technology was so good that they could monitor the speed of every car on the road and determine its speed. ...if you speed ANYWHERE, they catch you. etc.

What do you think about this. The technology WILL become available.
