LOL
Ah my friend...you will get a lot of answers on this one - most of them saying yes - unfortunately - those same ones would be 100% incorrect...it is a philosophical impossiblity for you to forget your philosophy.
LOL

If you let anger get the best of you - thats because your philosophy allows it to happen. Anger, like crying, can be control by what you think. If you think of why you are crying you will stop crying, likewise, if you think about why you are angry you will cease to be angery.

Does you philosophy allow you to think of such things or does it simply overlook them. If it overlooks them then you will have the violent outbreaks that mr bizerko will vist upon you...otherwise, your thoughts, based on your philosophy, will stop this from happening automatically. Do you use the same philosophy in everyhitng you do or just at certain times..this makes a difference.

Dont believe me - try it - your into martial arts - extend that martial arts philosophy to your whole life and NOT just the dojo. Make it a part of your everyday life in everything you will do or say....if you do this you will see the world in a whole new light, people around you will become aware of a sudden change in you...actually...they might even want to hang out with you more so be careful how you project your image - LOL

I would have to say regretfully yes.
But to keep things clear, anger is a normal emotion an one should not be ashamed or afraid to be angry, if there is a reason to be so. It's what you do with that anger that counts. If you lash out at others then that is a problem. If your angry actions cause some type of harm to another, then you are at fault.
But lets say that anger at a failed experiment causes you to redouble your efforts and work harder, well, then That may be one acceptable way to channel anger

all the time.

i rarely cut myself, and when i do it's usually because i get really really angry and forget myself. occasionally though, i remember that i shouldn't do it but choose to do it anyway. it's bad, i know, but it's human.

is this like asking if people bottle their anger and then let it it out? because (from experience) i know that bottling is really bad. but everyone does it, it's not possible to not bottle at least a little.

or do you mean that you let anger control your actions for longer than a day or a few hours? if so, then no, i catch myself long before that. maybe that's just a bigger form of bottling, but i'm doing okay, it works for me.

The identification for loss of control for anger is regret. Is loss of control for anger for all possibilities regretful. Hey, you never know.

The Will is positive, the Judgement is negative. I assure you, that divide is quite real. The healthy ego owns the totality of its spiritual possibility, the Will and the Judgement in their integral wholeness. Self reflection or self consciousness is real time life lived in real time, i.e. there is no confusing the real thing for its symbol, like a dream that has us in its deception.

I do my thing and you do your thing.
I am not in this world to live up to your expectations,
And you are not in this world to live up to mine.
You are you, and I am I, and if by chance we find each other, it's beautiful.
If not, it can't be helped.

Anger is self-created. No one can make you angry but yourself. Stop making yourself angry.

It's quite interesting to watch someone become angry and then watch them create the anger over and over and over by retelling the same story or by thinking of it over and over and over again.

Anger, sadly controls many. Jealousy involves an act of anger against the one who is considered the source of anger. Revenge too is an act of anger at the person who is believed to be at fault. Anger only leads to aggression. The sooner you rid yourself of anger, the more peaceful your life will become.
