I have written a few poems.. not the best ones out there, but I would love to share them with everyone else, thing is I don't want anyone to copy one and claim it as their own.

Now, my question is how can I get my poems copywritten .. and how much will it take out of my pocket? Maybe a little guesstimate..

and one last thing..

Is it possible to make my poems into a book for my own personal enjoyment .. ?

Thank you for your help :O)

Your poems are automatically copyrighted under your name when they are in printed form. To apply for a certificate of registration, log on to copyright.gov/, read all the instructions, fill out the form TX, print it and write a check for $30 or $35; whichever it is now. Drop it in the mailbox and eight months later the registration certificate will come in the mail for you.

You can submit all your poetry in one batch at the same price, which is something for you think about.

It is possible to have your poetry bound for your enjoyment. Take your collection to a nearby Office Depot or similar copy place that binds manuscripts. Preferably, one near a university is your best option.

You dont have to copyright them individually - you can put them into your book form and copyright them for about 40 bucks. Then you can put them together and go to Kinkos - they can bind them into a book for you. Pax - C
