Love is something that makes you forget your worries and enjoy life. Love is something that reminds you that nothing else matters...and everything matters...at the same time.
One word frees us of all the weight and pain of life; That word is love.
Only when we give joyfully, without hesitation or thought of gain, can we truly know what love means.
The spiritual meaning of love is measured by what it can do. Love is meant to heal. Love is meant to renew. Love is meant to bring us closer to God.
So tell me...do all those things sound like Love is a serious thing?
No....
Yes...there is a responsibility and you have a part to play in love...but...it's all that like the grains of a sand.
If you clutch them too hard...they'll drigt away to the ground.
So if you take LOVE too seriously, forgetting about what it's real meaning is, then it'll also shatter to the ground with a broken heart...or hearts....with it as well.

Love is life. Should life be taken seriously or with a carefree disposition? Hopefully the answer is both.
Take it as it comes. Let it take you. It has the all-encompassing potential to find a home in all of you- all your dispositions from poignancy to silliness.
I think that is why I feel it is such a miracle. It can engulf you and emancipate you at the same time if you let it. I suggest taking an extra jacket! :)

Honestly, i find it should be dealt in both ways, because love should be taken seriously because its something deep and delicate....but at the same time, you need to have a ...well not necessarily carefree but like an easy-going disposition about it because that shows just how comfortable you are with this other person and the more comfortable you are with showing your love so openly, the more it shows how much you truly do love them....
And i think that love takes you deep, engulfing your soul in its beauty and meaningfulness as well as...at the same time, setting it free and in so letting you be yourself, and giving you the choice to fly back anytime you wanted....love is about emotion and choice.

In my opinion, the only serious love emancipates the soul.
Considering that love for another is based on the being
of the other, and to attempt to change the disposition of
the soul is to change the being of the other; potentially
changing that which is loved to a different being possibly
even unloved in its new being. People don't always know
what they want, or anticipate the consequences of getting
what they want.

Love , in a broad sense , is comparable to food. Food is necessary and all the time. some you like , some you donot . Some should be taken . some in moderation .... Whatever , for the system you need it.
You can take Love seriuosly , scruplously and also easily. But you should have love . Initially it would look that you are discriminating but it is not so. After a peroid of time you would start to have the same towards everybody. And yet the Bonding that comes after Love is sometimes intense .

I believe that Love, should be taken seriously, and should be taken with a serious disposition, Love should not be taken for granted, when you meet the person you want to spend your Life with you will know by the way your feelings get tingly and deep.

Yes, it should. Love is the strongest force in the entire world. It can make someone who spent their whole life doing evil stop, and start doing good. However, it can also make someone who has done good their whole life turn to doing bad.
It should be dealt with a serious disposition since it is a very serious emotion. If you pretend to show someone love, and then stop you can really break their heart.
I think love both takes you deep and high. When in love, you realize all the beautiful things in life, and appreciate everything much more. It also takes you high because you are in ecstasy every time you are with the one you love.

a blend of both. there are some things that need to be taken seriously or else you could sabotage you happiness and there are some things that when taken too seriously and overthought could have the same result. you just deal with the situation at hand in what you can only hope is the right way. it's a hard question to answer because love is both weightless and as heavy to carry as lead.

Well, I take love very seriously - but find it's best taken easily, or even lightly. That way it doesn't oppress the loved, and becomes more joyful for all concerned. Love should feed and free, not engulf. It does that best too, when it doesn't consume.

LOIVE IS TO BE TAKEN CAUTIOUSLY.
As an emotion like love, is akin to Anger/Fear/Hatred/Jealousy/Stupidity and a few more.
So it can lead you, to do some outrageous, dangerous and offensive things. In some cases there is little option, in other cases it is a matter of leaping from the 'Lions Jaws into the Fire'.
Which means, you only make things worse for yourself.
So the emotion of love is to be treated with caution.
