if modern medicine was still centuries away, and autopsy at the time was a sin, how do they know, esp. if they don't dig the body up and do tests?

I have an assignment in which I have to decide which three events helped shaped Canada's independence.

For example, the battle of Vimy Ridge, the Halibut War, Commonwealth, Canada Act and them being recognized as a seperate country in the League of Nations.

Those are just a few things I found, but anything else would be awesome.

In one of the books all the Hogwarts students are forced to sleep in the dining hall because of some kind of disturbance but I can't remeber which book it takes place in. It's not that important its just bugging me. Thanks.

I am a huge Harry Potter fan and my suggestions and theories about "Deathly Hallows" are:

1. Harry´s scar is the last horcrux, because Harry always knows when Voldemort has strong feelings. There is a connection between both because Harry has a piece of Voldemort´s soul in him.

2. Harry survives, because he will be rescued somehow by the "very important fact he has his mother´s eyes" and by her love and her character always to see good things in everyone (perhaps in Voldemort´s character?) and, perhaps, also by Ginny´s love.

3. Dumbledore was definitely right with Snape being on the right side because, in my opinion, they made the Unbreakable Vow about that 16 years ago.

4. Except Voldemort, Hagrid and Lupin will perhaps have to die to rescue Harry...

Do you agree or not? What are your suggestions? I´ll be happy about every theory you are kindly to tell me! Thank you very much! It is so nice to know there are Harry Potter fans all over the world!

Someday:

She stares at me with her soft blue eyes, her pale skin and flawless complection. When i stare back i feel so grotesque so repugnant, compared to her goddess like beauty that i want to run into the darckest cevasse in some forsaken mountain just so i wont hinder her beauty, so unsurpassed she is the fairest of any woman ever born her hair flows to her shoulders like a goddess', her voice like a sirens beckoning me into the mist...but alas she has been claimed, claimed by a rich man who cares for her as much as he cares for the ants crushed under his boots as he walks t'words her. The look she gives me with those cold pale blue eyes tgat reflect the light as a thousand dropplets of dew reflecting off the leaves of late gives me hope, hope that someday we will be together...someday.

there are many questions about this subject but none really answer my question.
I've decided to embark on a journey with enlightenment as my end result. however i dont know where to start. some say meditation is the key, others say religion is vital. still others say you dont need all of that for its inside you to begin with.
so, i'm very puzzled and confused now.
i know its quite impossible for you to tell me exactly how to become enlightened and i know its a kinda dumb question to ask but....
I need somewhere to start.
could someone please give me a general idea of what enlightenment really is, how i know once i've found it, how you may have become enlightened....and stuff like that...
