Choose a song that shows off your full range and attitude :-) If you belt, you can sing something that other sopranos can only sing soft and pretty, but don't scream. Choose your moments. Did they give you any guidelines (ie classical or musical theatre?) I wouldn't go alto... show off your soprano range and only go lower if the song you chose calls for it. Maybe mezzo because the songs in that range tend to have more character and belt :-)
Sorry, but without more info it's hard to make more specific suggestions. Look at songs from A Little Night Music, Hairspray, even Wicked only because of the range Elphaba has... but that one's real iffy. Home from Beauty and the Beast (it may not go high enough though), Waiting For Life from Once on This Island, I'm Not Afraid of Anything from Songs For A New World is good, but you could have a hard time getting an accompanist to play it for you ;-)
Best of luck!

Choose something you are comfortable with and shows of your voice. What is unique about your voice? Can you hit really high notes with ease? Do you have a big range? Are you good at character songs? You have to narrow down a lot to choose a song. I assume the audition is soon and you don't have much time to prepare. If thats the case go with something you are already familiar with.

Since I've never heard you and don't know your individual tastes I don't really feel quite "right" suggesting specific songs....but keep in mind not to do something too overused but don't risk a good sounding performance for the sake of interest either. Also, and this is something I think people so often miss, pick a song that you really relate to- that really means something to you, if you're a truly great singer your emotion reflected in it will exemplify the strength of your voice and range.
good luck =)
