I LOVE Mary Higgins Clark books. I think she does a really great job keeping her readers interested in her books. I was wondering if anybody knows some other authors that are just like Mary Higgins Clark. I don't want the books to be TOO scary but I do want them to have a little bit of suspense in them. Also, tell me some book titles that are also great in the suspense genre. Thank You!!

....There is no meaning we are simply creations of nature, there is no meaning to life and if people feel there is its because they desperately want to cling onto thier belief that they have a purpose maybe mothers have purposes towards htier children, but generally humans serve no purpose only to themselves, people are scared of addmitting they have no reason for being on this planet, even progress isnt a purpose its just a lifeline

As with many things that happened in this world - have any decendants of slavery ever thought WHERE they would be now if none of it had happened - plus, think of all those great people who made such an impact in this world, Artistically, Politically etc. who very likely would never have existed at all! 1- Does upgrade mean "increase" or what?
2-how could someone sell insurance?what does it mean?
